šŸˆ Enos among the names mentioned for Tennessee's offensive coordinator position

Per several news media outlets, the 10rc vils are targeting Dan Enos as their next offensive coordinator. I'm so freaking tired of other schools and staffs targeting our coaches. Saban does all the hard work identifying, researching, hiring and working with these guys, then comes the poachers ready for a prize trophy. I know its part of the business, but it would be nice to have some d@mn continuity for a couple of years! This group of coaches has been together for one year and the poachers come running! How about targeting jawja, chokelahoma, the fighting dabo's or those little leprechauns! It is a true testament to Coach Saban and the Process! Working for him is like winning the lottery or finding the Golden Ticket!

@BamaMD, There are people in Hugh Freeze's camp saying this is close to being a done deal with HF taking over the OC position at UT.

I'm pessimistic about those thoughts because of how the SEC admin handled the situation last season when schools were wanting to bring him in as an analyst.

That said, Sankey has the backbone of a snail. Who knows how he'll allow himself to be pulled this time.

I seem to remember Sankey's argument being that Freeze shouldn't return to the SEC while Ole Miss was still being punished. Isn't this the last year of bowl bans? Maybe that is his out now.

It easy to equate talented players with coaching achievement. I'm afraid this will continue at an alarming rate.

That is how things work in all business....if you do...and its great results....suitors will come calling...
But ...... doing a great job at Bama....... sometimes results willbe skewed because of talent

You have to admit the job he’s done with Hurts is pretty great. That TD he threw to Waddle was beautiful...he seems to have learned to stay in the pocket more and find his reads... JMHO

Yep...will admit that.....he is a dandy football coach...
Still....talent available to coach is plentiful at Bama,...
Tennessee’s HC is finding that out

I would add that Tua has changed the offensive line principles since the new emphasis on the passing game. In short, we're holding folks out of the pocket much longer than when the priority was to mainly run block with Jalen. So, what Jalen isn't doing anymore is getting about a second to make the read and start dropping his head and seeing the rush, then rolling to his right and taking off. Tua and the new scheme has given Jalen time to see the field and slow down those gifted, but happy feet.

@TerryP I know you have contacts with folks within several programs....but let's not forget, this is the same group of fans that swore up and down that Gruden was a done deal at UT several times.
I think you misread what I said. It's not coming from UT folk, it's those associated closely with Freeze.

I've seen that bantered about in the last few weeks as a possible reason. I did not hear that was the case last summer. I do recall some saying the rumor was Sankey didn't want Freeze in the SEC for another five years.

Here's an issue.

Why be humble about an opinion when it's right? :devilish:

Don't think Locksley or Enos should leave this year unless it's dream job type scenario like Locksley to Maryland....

Whatever job is in their "class" after this year will be will be under them at this time next year. As long as Tua stays healthy....

Odd... when I made that observation when everyone talked about Tua's all-word performances in mop up duty last year you guys crucified me.

Does that mean you feel you were correct, somehow? Pretty sure you also prophesied that Tua was going to spray it around the field and make lots of risk/reward type of throws this season. Then I got the distinct impression that we were going to get one of those "I told you so" type post after the fact.

Of course, there's always the chance I'm just misremembering your stubbornness concerning Jalen being the starter.
