Did Jonathan Allen receive his 2nd personal foul after Minka's int.? Would that have disqualified him for the end of the game and for the first half of the championship game?

Was not a horse collar from what I could tell. Horse collar isn't about where you grab as much as about how you take them down. Washington didn't grab and pull him down immediately.

"All players are prohibited from grabbing the inside back collar of the shoulder pads or jersey, or the inside collar of the side of the shoulder pads or jersey, and immediately pulling the ball carrier down."

Thanks!!!

We just need to be careful of unintended consequences with penalties. Bama has been pretty good at playing with an emotional edge throughout the season, so if Ryan, Harrison, or Foster or anyone else feels disrespected, and it fires up the troops, I'm all for it.

Great observation from the OP. I'm super paranoid which most of you are aware of. I'm very concerned about the powers that be following up on a few things... I guess no news is good news... Hoping we don't hear sh*t about it.

The only #98 on the roster is a backup punter. I'm about 98% sure that penalty was supposed to be on Jon Allen. They reported it as unsportsmanlike like conduct... which would have been his second. I'm not even sure the first one was supposed to be on him, but they called it that way. A second one is grounds for ejection... I'm assuming that would mean 2 halves?? He would have to miss the 1st half of title game. IMO that didn't make sense... If anything more of a unnecessary roughness type of penalty. Not sure if that makes a difference

Rueben Foster... Did he throw a punch? Kind of looked like it... Only saw the replay once but my initial reaction was that it would be reviewed and he would be tossed. I hope it's not something they do retroactively.

Let's review the video...

This is the play just before the big one. Washington offensive line created the drama, our guys should have maintained their composure, regardless of what these goons do.

Next play, Washington's OL #72 Trey Adam's decides to literally tug on superman's cape (aka Reuben Foster).

Trey Adams - business in front, party in back.
