I think it is something special for these guys because East Carolina is not necessarily a powerhouse, so it is a glimpse into the upper echelon type program, which is what they should strive to be like. More motivation I imagine from the coaches prospective than anything.

Several days until the game, and it is not like there is a tremendous amount of 'tourist things' to do in Birmingham this time of the year. Children's Hospital would be good, the Civil Rights Museum, Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, but the game isn't until the 3rd.
