I thought it was weird when it was announced in the spring...and now, today, I still wonder why the heck they didn't choose UArk or UT?

UT, homecoming game?!?!?! Seriously. Fantastic opponent for that day...

The grand marshal for the homecoming parade is Eddie Conyers, who began working with the UA athletics department in 1960.

I realize its Homecoming , but with the game now on television for sure, You can probably get a ticket for this one on the street for the price of a program

This is one part that makes a little sense to me.

Now, it's not like there are going to be 1000's there for the parade that early in the morning, but for those who want to enjoy the area around the stadium/campus/etc. it's does clear up routes for those coming into campus, right?

For those coming from the east (probably the majority), maybe so but it makes it hell on those arriving from the west, which would be me if I didn't have reservations for the weekend in T-Town.
