I wonder if what jumped out at me also jumped out at you. Let's see ...
UGA, and UofSC, have only played eight #1 ranked teams in their programs' history! While UofSC has spent a half of a century—50 years—as an independent versus UGA's conference affiliations...they've both only managed to play eight? This says A LOT about UGA's scheduling, eh? UF doesn't cross the Mississippi Rivers and they have 20?

Saban was absolute money vs #1 ranked opponents. Alabama got wins vs #1 ranked opponents in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2021, and 2023. Average margin of victory: 33-19. If you take out the Clemson game, where they scored 40, it's 33-13.
