I was wondering if anyone would post this. In my endless search to find anything on TV last night I ended up watching this game. I saw that play and thought it was a hell of a catch followed by a big hit, then it continued from there into what you see. Took me a minute to refresh my mind to who he was and then it hit me, Chris Carter'S son that everyone bashes on here. Now I understand why. I'm so very surprised his ass wasn't on the ground getting beaten by the other team as he walked their sideline. Can't believe I actually caught that live out of all things on a crappy night of television.

Yeah, after watching it a few times he looks like he might not know where he is. That was a nasty hit. Makes me think of the Wisconsin player that tried to line up in our backfield last year.

Completely off topic, but I've never had that impression. To me, it's been akin to "two weeks." Just a constant running joke that a few hang on to ... almost a Titus Ryan part deux.

I'm left feeling a little disappointed for Duron. By accounts we've read of him he appears to enjoy the smack talk realm of football. So did his dad. The later gets away with it because he's ... well, clever. He's got a talent for talking smack. His son, doesn't appear to have the "smarts" to talk like his dad.

If Duron would have "buckled down" on his class work he likely would have been wearing Crimson. But no study skills and a lack of discipline combined with little, if any, desire to change left him where he is today. My gut tells me that falls back on the way he was raised. In the end, I don't know.

It wouldn't take much to convince me that the main reason Cris wanted Duron at Bama was the way players were.are handled under this current staff. I get the impression Cris felt Saban could get his son back on track.

That play sums up his entire career perfectly. Incredible talent and ability (along with some damn good genetics I would imagine) leading to that amazing catch... then his arrogance, lack of discipline, bad decision making, and stupidity leading to the way he acts after the play.

It's the short term memory I have issues with (some self-created, mind you.)

When I started thinking about that period, and I want to say he was in the 2002 class, I recall how frustrating the recruiting was under fRan.

I guess Titus didn't turn on the radio and hear Sweet Home Alabama ala Brodie.

To be honest I wondered the same. If he didn't flop, he certainly seemed to 'over-act' a bit.

I did; credit to them for staying on the sideline.

The way he acted while on their sideline is, well, weird. To me, it almost seems like he could have acted the same way if he went to his teams' sideline after the TD.

I'm not trying to excuse his behavior if he's indeed just over there talking smack. Something just doesn't seem right which brings me right back to wondering if he got his bell rung.
