Who said Duran would not help us out this season?

"Life on the scout team took a turn this week for star junior college transfer Duron Carter. Forget playing wide receiver, the son of NFL legend Cris Carter who was ruled academically ineligible this season, is lining up behind center.

The tall receiver is now mimicking LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson in practice, Alabama defensive lineman Jesse Williams said Tuesday.
The 6-4, 210-pound junior closely mirrors the size of the 6-5, 225-pound quarterback who now backs up Jarrett Lee, played by freshman Phillip Ely in practice.
ā€œ(Carter) gives us a really good look at what speed and tempo we will be playing,ā€ Williams said.
So can he throw?
ā€œI don’t usually see much of it,ā€ Williams said. ā€œIt’s usually him running, so I’m chasing after him.ā€- From The Bama Daily Blog
