Read in a couple places recently (today) that Kirkpatric is going to be hard to keep off the field THIS year....has REALLY impressed! Anybody else hearing that?

He's thin, but incredibly talented.

There's a reason he was the number one CB in the nation.

By evidence of spring camp, we are adding even more multiples on defense. It really opens up a lot of playing time for guys. I've thought all along he'd get a chance in the nickel, a really good chance in our dime.

Seems to be the case.

It's also, as a caveat, a clear demonstration of how little talent we've had at WR positions. Seriously, we've got some guys who wouldn't have turned the current staffs' heads.
