🏈 Draft who should come back

I would be thrilled if Ronnie Harrison and Payne came back.

But Payne should leave considering his family situation.

I am thinking these will and should go for draft -
Fitzpatrick
Ridley
Scarborough
Harris

Some speculation that Buggs has spoken with CNS as well. I know he turned it on the second half of the season, but I think we could see his stock skyrocket with one more year.

I would like to see Ronnie back one more year as well. I think he has accomplished his goals at Alabama, but I also feel he could learn to cover deep a little better. He is killer in run coverage, but when the ball is deep you rarely see him. Maybe it's our defensive scheme, but that's just my view. His attitude and leadership could be HUGE for us next year, but of course it could be my own selfishness that wants that. The guy is a football player, plain and simple. The way he carries himself, takes no shit, and lays the wood, he's a guy I want on my team and for us to keep as long as possible.

Payne is gone after what he did in the Playoffs. As Alabama fans we already knew of his weight room stories and what he does for us on an every play basis, but the rest of the country finally got a taste this year. Albeit two years late to the game for what we knew, he made himself a lot of money in the last week and a half.

After the Championship game, it was a weird feeling and a changing of the guard of sorts. We pushed aside our older talent and allowed the younger talent to run with the opportunity. Not seeing Bo or Harris in there at the end felt weird to me, but I also felt energized. Bo gave us a lot to be happy about at times, and I think he needs to go pro to achieve his goal and to make some money before injuries catch up. Harris is just awesome. The guy had a hell of a first season where he never got blocking and took some big time hits. His sophomore and junior seasons were something amazing. Just his growth, speed, agility, and strength multiplied it seemed and he put us in the best position to win on MANY occasions. I would love to see him back, but he has also accomplished his goals in Tuscaloosa.

All of these guys have won two national championships in three seasons, and one play from a damn three-peat. I think you can hang your hat on that and be very fulfilled in what you accomplished. You always have a home. You clearly see that with all of the old talent on the sidelines the other night.

Dont really know personal needs of each....and that's always a factor....
D Harris could return and be the featured back....20 carrys a game...monster year...monster draft status.... Bo...not so...
Fitz , Ridley, and payne GONE.....
Harrison ...probably...
But really dont see anybody that cant be replaced....Fitzpatrick will be toughest...
And schedule next year doesnt look terribly hard....
@lsu, @ ms, @ tn, @ ark....none stike fear ...
Hme vs AU, MSU, Missouri, and AnM....
Neutral with Louisville......

Can't see any of those juniors staying. RB's need to go pro when they're healthy... Thought D. Harris got shafted late in the season but at least he's not injured.

Will Ross P stay? He was dominant this season but he's got a ton of experience. Probably graduated by now what's left for him?

Payne made himself and his future dependents stacks the last 2 games. He better go. Bo can’t do anymore if he stays. Harris has very little wear to have the yards and starts that he’s had. I think the league will favor his style and health. I wish Ronnie would stay but I doubt it. Can’t see him and Fitz both going top 15 in the draft but many believe they will.

Biugs should return like Mt. Cody. Either way, pretty much an entire new starting 11 on D next year vs game 1 this year.

Ross P already has his degree in hand. He is a redshirt Jr if I'm not mistaken.
RBs Bo and Damien, no reason to stay. They have film and the shelf life for a RB isn't too long in the NFL.
Payne likely got himself inside the Top 10-15 picks with his performances against Clemson and UGA.
Ridley - GONE!! #1 WR in the draft!!
Minkah- NOBODY better on the back end! GONE!!
Harrison- likely going out.
Again Buggs is going to be the guy to watch.

Very classy guy doing a classy thing. Being genuinely thankful to men and women who supported your growth and pointing other young men who want the same support that way is what a man of character does.

Good luck Calvin.. loved having you here and that you will always be part of the Tide.

Harrison & Minkah are no doubters. I guess Buggs is only other considering? A big mistake IMO but do not know if there are extenuating circumstances that might be at play.

I've seen Piersbacher mentioned but really?

Not surprised about Damien. His stock couldn't have been that high and he needs more carries to prove he can take the pounding.

I'm still wondering who else is coming back (in light of Saban's comment that "some" should).

Not sure if your post was serious....

Average 7.2 and 7.4 the last two years and over 1,000 yards season the last 2 years... I think he would have had a HIGH demand in the draft.
