His surgery went wellāas well as something like this could be expected to go, that is.
Two surgeons were working on Dont'a. Dr. James Andrews, a guy I'm sure most of you are familiar with (if not, climb out from under that rock.)
Dr. Lyle Cain also worked with Dr. Andrews.
Cain is someone I'm very familiar with. To say the least, as widely known as Dr. Andrews is, I feel comfortable saying Dr. Cain is every bit as skilled as Dr. Andrews when it comes to repairing damaged ligaments.
Prognosis? At this point, let's all hope Dont'a is able to compete at full speed when we start spring camp next season. The time line, for recovery, fits.
