He had some nice runs last year before his injury. Sounds like he's going to be even harder to tackle this year.

On a side note, remember how we started last season with such few meaningful carries by our returning backs. Least carries entering a season by far in the Saban era. Worked out OK. Or least it did until we stopped handing off the ball at the end of the season... Contrast that with this season. We have 4 guys returning that have very meaningful carries. And.... the #1 recruit in the country who is a RB. Roll Tide!

Watching him on the sideline for A-Day, he looks so much bigger, almost fat. Obviously it's all muscle at 8% body fat. Joshua Jacobs put on some weight too.

I just can't see him breaking out this year. IMO Jacobs was our best all around back last year... Harris was very impressive... And Bo had the most dominant games. Throw in another freshman getting rave reviews, and a 2nd freshman impressing as well, Emmons will have a tough time getting carries coming off an injury.

BTW aside from Trent, he was my fav HS RB under Saban. He is a special talent. Just a tough situation right now
