I have always been told that speed kills but weight helps to wear down your opponent in the 4th quarter when the wall gets tired. I have done some googling about our weight of the offensive line and found a few articles that make me believe we do have an advantage against ND.
Our average weight of the OL is an advantage. We are as big as the Giants. Wow
Their size averages about 304 per man or 10 less pounds. We should be able to leverage our size if we keep our speed up and pound them, that 10 extra pounds will make a difference. Here is a great article about how size matters.
