🏈 Does Saban have the final say

We all know what CNS likes to do, run the ball, pass to keep the D honest and win with Defense. Our D played well enough to win with the position our turnovers put them in to. With that being said, does LK have full control over the Offense or has CNS just decided we need to try this style of offense. We have the horses to run the ball and a QB that needs to just throw short over the middle or flare passes to backs.

IMO, he has veto power on anything called by LK. Do I know this for a fact? No, but I would be shocked if he didn't. We all complained when we ran the ground and pound because it wasn't flashy enough and now we complain because we don't ground and pound. We use to run to set up the pass and now we pass to set up the run. Personally, I don't care what we run as long as we have a chance to win. Last Saturday, we didnt have a chance to win because of bad first half play calling, turnovers and bad special teams play.

We all did not complain, I don't care if we win 3-0 I just want to win. I love a good ground game. I love watching Georgia Tech play!

I think he obviously has veto power to make all of the decisions as he'S the head coach, but I think he also knows it'S a fine line of trust between him and his coaches to give them freedom. I think there's a line that when crossed he steps in, just like we heard him lip to Kiffin last year on he sideline.

The whole problem with Lane's offense is we have no identity, especially with no QB. Are we a running team that likes to throw it a lot? Or a passing team that likes to run it a good amount? What's our go to play? Our go to player? You might want to say King Henry, but if that's true, why did you remove him from the game plan with 3 minutes left? We don't know who or what we are.

I don't think we want a go to player or play. Wouldn't the opponent know what we would do and scheme against it? Ole Miss had a go to play and player inside the 5-yard line and Alabama shut it down because they knew what was coming.

I can't imagine that he would not have total veto power. Was it just me or did anyone else notice that he was joined at Lane's hip during the game? I feel like Lane is getting a touch less agressive with play calling because Saban is right over his shoulder. Maybe not, just my feeling.

He definitely has final say. To think otherwise isn't using sound logic. The headset Saban has, has access to both sides. He can override ANYTHING he desires! Now, whether he chooses to do so, is on him. Saban could feel that Kiffin is in rhythm with play calling or feel that Kiffin knows what he is doing.
