I say no but how is that 2016 version of The Tide remembered? The bar is so high at the U of A and from my seat the bar is just too high. I am hopeful The King can win two more games but it will still be a great year if it ends on Saturday.

Sorry, I am spoiled. It can be a good year without winning it all, but I wouldn't call it a success. Maybe just semantics.....good v. great. The word "success" is more subjective, I guess.

If your only loss is the last game, it's disappointing. Alabama fans are spoiled (with good reason). In the whole scheme of things, Alabama was successful this year. But, if your goal is a NC and they don't get it, then the year isn't a success.

Although I always want to win it , but I think winning the conference and making the final four and the championship game is a success . I can remember the lean years to where I used to just dream of being in a New Year’s Eve bowl game . So all this success has just been an embarrassment of success that I am wallering in .

I would say so. Coach would say no, it was a great year, yadda yadda, but they know we have the best coaches and players and that a Championship is the goal and a loss if we don't. To me as well, yes. We have the best players and fail so little that we would really have to be off to not win it all.

If we don't win it all the disappointment will be huge and it will take a couple of days to accept it and realize what a great season it was.

Ask Mark Ingram if winning all but one game is a success. I saw an interview where he said he still has nightmares about the fumble on the one yardline...the Cam Newton come from behind win.....Sorry guys but was the season 2 years ago a "success" when we lost to Clemson on the last drive? Not in my mind..... and i bet not in the mind of those players and coaches. They don't train and kill themselves all year to lose the last game when the goal is so close and the championship is within your grasp. Every other school would say this season has been a success to get to the Natty.....but not at Bama. It means more. We came here to win not come in second! And yes we are spoiled beyond compare by CNS. But he is the best because he demands the best and expects the best. Roll Tide!
