I missed my first DIAA (Football Championship Subdivision) National Championship in three years last night because of a prior engagement with wrestling. I gotta give it to Appalachian State and their fans. They are crazy and will ALWAYS support their team in Chattanooga. They really have fun at the game. Plus its always alot of fun to storm the field with a team and run around jumping on the players and coaches and what not.
Now that you mention it, I believe they have. Also, I want to say they had a Turkey calling championship.

VSU is my School. I attended in the late 70's before we had a football team. Congratulations to them for winning the NC. The town of Valdosta has a nickname of Winnersville. The Valdosta Wildcats HS team is one of the winningest programs in the nation.
Wow! What a concept playing a national championship to determine a true champion in football. Kudos to my hometown of Florence for putting on a first rate game. Its always good to see the hometown on TV.
