During a Texas Tech drive in the third quarter, LSU defensive back Jamal Adams was jogging into position and appearing to talk to his sideline when he suddenly slid onto the field gingerly.

Texas Tech fans booed, as the Red Raiders like to go up-tempo on offense and assumed that Adams was faking an injury to slow down the game. But, upon further inspection, it appears that Adams may have had an unfortunate accident.

Trainers quickly moved to cover his backside with a towel.

If things like that happen with LSU, I am always suspicious. I remember the 2009 game when we went 'hurry up' on them and they experienced an almost miraculous sequense of plays where one of their defensive guys would have to be helped from the field, be out one play, then come back in.

I had an upset stomach when I played back in the mid to late 70's. There is nothing worse than having to get to a restroom, leaving the game and everyone in the place knows what you are doing after the 2nd or 3rd trip to the lockeroom. Almost every team wore white pants back then too. It's funny now but back then it wasn't.
