So, we all know that Desherrius Flowers committed and signed the LOI, got to campus and had NZaa qualifying issues, and was off to Jones County JC in Ellisville, Mississippi

Alabama 2015 RB signee DeSherrius Flowers has been deemed academically ineligible despite already attending classes at the school. Flowers was an early enrollee and already went through a full semester at Alabama before the ineligibility was discovered. Who knows what this means for his status for the 2015 season, but he will likely complete whatever course was missing and re-enroll. Flowers was a four-star recruit. Thu, Jun 18, 2015 10:56:00 AM

So, not hearing anything about this kid, will he be recruited for the 2017 class? Will he go somewhere else? Seems like I read somewhere that his grades at JC were "honor roll" grades? But, will Bama pursue him for a 2 year stay? or allow him to go to another school? Anyone know how his 2015 games went? was he a starter or just another casualty of the nzaa narks?
Whatever happened to Alfy Hill?

Flowers played in 9 games and rushed for 280 something yards (31 per game) and 2 TDs. JCJC had a poor season and relied mostly on their athletic QB to either throw or run. I assume he will play 2016 at Jones but just a guess. Wasn't he a last minute sign in order to get another RB in that class? I don't know how high his stock is after 1yr at JC, but I suspect we have moved on at the RB position. Got some pretty big fish on the line and in the boat.

As far as Hill, I think he is currently looking to sign somewhere after bouncing around but not sticking anywhere in 2015. This was an article I found from preseason 2015.

— The Philadelphia Eagles acquired former West Brunswick Trojan Alfy Hill on Friday. Hill made his first NFL tackle just two days after being placed on the Philadelphia roster. Hill made a tackle on the next to last play of the game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts in the first preseason game of the year for both squads.

Alfy Hill spent time earlier this year with the Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots, but he was released by all three NFL teams. The defensive end started his collegiate career at Alabama, but never played in a game with the Crimson Tide. He finished his college career at Winston-Salem State in 2014.

I'd be shocked if we saw Flowers at UA.
Same here, especially with two RB's committed for the 2017 class, and another for 2018. Injuries in our RB corps may lead the staff to look that way again ... but here's hoping they don't have their hand forced in that direction. If Harris is as good as some of the evaluations have labeled him? Geez, let's move on...
