I'm friends with Kerry on Facebook and it is really sad to see how his body is failing him. He tries to be upbeat about it and make jokes but I know it has to be really hurting him. He posted a picture of Marie Osmond promoting whatever weightloss program she fronts. It said she lost X weight in X number of months. Kerry used a picture of him beside it stating the same.
He also typed out his entire ordeal from going to the title game in Tampa. It was really sad. I hate cancer and I hate ALS!!!

I'm also his Facebook friend. He is always upbeat in public, but if you read between the lines he's checking off the bucket list. He commented that Tampa was probably his last Alabama game due to the difficulties he has with parking, transportation and the stadium.

My parents are Warrior Indians. Dad was class of '68 and mom class of '72. My dad taught there from '75 until '03 I believe. My mom taught at Corner from '76 until '09.
