📝 December Recruiting- 15 in, three committed, with roughly 8 spots left

As to the Dabo discussion, I prefer we try and get Bill Clark, once Saban hangs it up. He is halfway between Saban and Dabo, personality wise and has done nothing but win everywhere he has been. He has done the almost impossible at UAB this year, coming off what amounts to a death penalty, something it took SMU 30 years to do, he did in one year.

Speaking of legacies, why is there no interest in Wes Baumhower? We are in the midst of doing All State voting right now and that kid has 30 tackles for loss this season at linebacker... 30! And this isn't 2A football here, it's big boy 7A. I get that he's small, 6'1", 220, but yikes you would that would at least warrant a cpl of offers SOMEWHERE.

Asked that question for you on the Rival's recruiting forum and here's the reply of a couple of the head gurus:

1. Not good enough, just like the other million no-offer kids. Maybe he'll get some small school offers or invited walk-ons. Hopefully he gets to play somewhere.

2. My team played him. Nothing special. Didn’t show up in our game at all.

Hey guys and gals. I haven't been able to post the past several days due to work being absolute chaos, but, got a few extra minutes this morning, be thought I'd share some info with you all. On recruiting, this weekend has a chance to be huge for Bama. As you all know, the last time I posted that we had silent commits, they went public, and my source says we have more now. Eyabi Anoma, who's recently gained his 5th star, and is the #1 WDE in the nation, is all Bama, and is firmly in commitment watch this weekend. Also, in my opinion, the most talented DB since Minkah, Josh Jobe, gave his commitment to Saban on his in-home. For those that were worried about recruiting, don't. I absolutely expect us to have a top 3-4 class even with only 22 spots to fill. Our two greatest positions of need are DL and DB. On the DL, we should sign Wynn, Davis, Barmore, Langham, Cox, along with a couple others possibly. For DBs, I expect us to sign Jobe, Smith, JAD, Trey Dean, and at least one of either Isaac Taylor-Stuart or Tyson Campbell. All in all, this dynasty isn't going away anytime soon!
Now, to the playoffs. UA has NEVER had a team more motivated than this one. We will be 100% healthy besides SDH and Hootie. Our guys, especially our LBs, are out for blood. I may get flamed for this, but I see us beating Clemson by 2 TDs or more. Lastly, I've been told that whether Jalen struggles or not, Tua will have 3-5 plays vs Clemson, and maybe more if he does as good as expected. If you all have any ?s, just ask and I'll answer as best I can. Roll Tide. Let's get 17!

Be cautious when you use "WDE" on this site. It means different things in football.

I saw Saban at Chuck's last night with a number of recruits in tow. The whole place erupted in applause. I often wonder if he actually enjoys that.

I would imagine it's a familiar sight for Coach and he just nods and goes about his business. But for the recruits, I bet they see it as major respect and a place where they know they will be loved and appreciated by everyone moreso than other places. I bet they dig it and were in awe.
