DB Tre’Davious White thinks LSU is ‘the better club’ when compared to Alabama

Ah, the life of an SEC player.

Any controversial comment about another conference program will be analyzed and spoken about ad nauseam by those in the media and on any social platform.

LSU defensive back Tre’Davious White volunteered some of this commentary on Wednesday. The Tigers held Alabama to its lowest scoring total (10) on the year. It was also second-closest margin of victory — as Alabama beat LSU by a score of 10-0 on Nov. 5.

While the Tigers played the Crimson Tide exceptionally well, they still lost the contest. It didn’t matter much to White — as he told AL.com:

“We were close. Not close enough. I felt like we played well enough to win the game. Things just didn’t go our way. Alabama’s a great team. I feel like we’re a great team too. I feel like we matched up well against them. I wouldn’t say … I don’t believe in moral victories or nothing like that. Honestly, I feel like we were the better club than they was. But they got the win, so that’s that.”

White may want to remember that Alabama’s playing in the College Football Playoff as the No. 1 seed — whereas LSU is playing in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.
