🏈 Da'Shawn Hand works with OLBs today. "He's a natural in coverage, baby!" Tosh Lupoi shouted.

Can't say I'm shocked. D. Hand really hasn't made an impact at DL but could be a good option as a run stopper OLB. Who knows maybe finds a groove as a pass rusher.

What this also says is CNS must really like Buggs/Q Williams. Sh*t I do too. RTR

So much talent at Alabama. Mack Wilson at LB, every time he is on the field something good happens around him. For years, Rashaan Evans would flash like that and then he would be gone. I use to watch Landon Collins flash all over the field on ST but we couldn't get him on the field at safety. The next few weeks are going to be fun to watch. Some of these super talented LBers are going to get an opportunity do a lot more than just flash and be gone.

I think Holcombe and Wilson can slide right in on the inside but depth will be huge.

He's been taking reps with the OLB's as well.

Personally, I didn't get why there was a quick leap to move Evans outside. Yes, he has experience there. But, he was also mirroring Foster last year and was calling a lot of the defense this season. Why move one of your main play callers out of position?

Because SDH is extremely intelligent and it appears both Holcombe and Mack can do the job.

At OLB there's not another guy with game experience is there? Also... if the OLB gets home quickly, the MLB position won't matter as much lol

Jamey Mosley is who I'm expecting to see there.

It's my thought the reps with SDH and Holcombe at OLB are more intended to get them practice in base.

On pass rushing down they did slide Evans down when Miller went out. Seeing that on third down packages seems logical with Jennings playing a lot more than expected.

Bottom line. We need two of the following to be ready more quickly than they were being counted on: Allen, Cowan, Davis, or Moses.

Because he's already putting his hand in the dirt and rushing off the edge alot and Hamitlon can certainly make the calls.

Ummmmm... Landon was an All American at safety... the only year he didn't start was because he had HaHa Clinton-Dix ahead of him.

Landon started the whole season his junior year and left early. He was a year behind Clinton-Dix and Vinnie Sunseri. When Vinnie went down with a knee then Landon got to start in his place his sophomore season. Which I felt coincides well with what some of these LBers opportunities are. I'm also suggesting if Vinnie doesn't go down that doesn't happen.

Vandarius Cowan already had the size to make a difference, as does Chris Allen. Mosley as you have stated will fill in nicely from what I have seen of him and heard.

He and Vinnie were sharing time before Vinnie went down with the injury and Landon was already playing in nickel and dime, too.

What are you fighting Birdman? Landon didn't start at safety and wasn't considered a starting safety til Vinnie got hurt. They weren't co-safety, Landon Collins was a sub.

I also used Rashaan Evans as another example of a talented player getting his opportunity to start after an injury. Without the injury to Shaun Dion, he doesn't get that opportunity.

I look for both those examples to repeat itself with the loss of 2 starters. Don't fight it, it's bigger than both of us.
