🏈 Darren Lake?

Since like week 2 or 3 almost every practice report on AL.com has pointed out how Freshman Darren Lake is getting more attention than any other Lineman from Coach Rumph, even saying that he went thru on the sled 3 times today while everyone else went once. What's the deal? Is this a case of Rumph and/or Sabin seeing something in him and putting that much more effort in "coachin him up" or is it a case of just trying to get him ready in case Jesse or Ivory gets hurt?

A space-eating 300 plus lb strong man with foot speed and agility similar to Marcel Dareus. He'll be getting his reps next year.

He was blowing his competition away in our summer camps and the staff sees a great upside with him. It's been a lot of technique coaching with DL.
