🏈 Dareus may have attended agent's party "per ESPN"

i wrote my research paper on the effects of sports agents on college football. this stuff is beyond ridiculous. coach saban hit the nail on the head about the NFL needing to do something about these damn agents. this is a cancer in college sports right now.

University of Alabama defensive end Marcell Dareus has been declared ineligible and is believed to be the only UA player who attended a party in Miami hosted by a sports agent, a source close to the situation told The Tuscaloosa News.

Well at least he was the only one. I was worried Mark and a few others may have decided to join the party. :lance:

I agree the agents are a cancer in college sports right now, but it's also time for these players to take a little responsibility as well. I also agree with what Doe said, thank God this happened over the summer and not before the NC game!

EDIT: I didn't see the thread that was started on the ineligibility until I posted this. Doh!

I've heard about a dozen high-profile names mentioned as attendees.

QUESTION: If it was just a party (no signing or $100 handshakes), then is there a point (i.e. enough players involved) that dropping the hammer becomes too severe to College Football as single entity?

QUESTION: If its 12 kids from the same school, they nail the school with Lack of Institutional Control. But if its 12 schools, then would it not be just as fair to lay the blame at the feet of the NCAA and also call it Lack of Institutional Control?
