I know this sounds weird but I woke up around 4 this morning and prayed for him. Didnt think much of it till now. Cancer never concerned me until I lost my step dad 5 years ago. Its a horrible way to go.

Very, very sad. This moved quickly and was very aggressive. His family and teammates are certainly in my prayers

Actually, the fact that it moved quickly might be a blessing in disguise. Ive had family members lose long term bouts with cancer, the strain the body goes through with the cancer and the treatments can make you sick at your stomach. Life is never fair(heck, personally, im expected to die in my thirties), so I think as bad as it was, it couldve been much worse, and I think there is some comfort to be had from that.

Thank you for offering up that today. You certainly didn't have to. It's always interesting to know the background of a person, so you can gauge what the forces are/were that formed their personality. And really, personality is really all we can know about each other in an online forum.
