🏈 dang, Nick Bell passed, that really sucks.

Actually, the fact that it moved quickly might be a blessing in disguise. Ive had family members lose long term bouts with cancer, the strain the body goes through with the cancer and the treatments can make you sick at your stomach. Life is never fair(heck, personally, im expected to die in my thirties), so I think as bad as it was, it couldve been much worse, and I think there is some comfort to be had from that.

Joeman, startled by your comment on your own mortality. Anything you might share about this? Certainly it's a personal matter, and your non-reply to my question will not be taken in any way other than out of respect to you.

Very sad to hear about Nick Bell. What a terrible shame that one of the young 'uns is lost now. May great healing come to his family and his teammates during this time.

Friedreich's ataxia

It is a problem I have been dealing with since I was about 12. In my teenage years(22 now) I started getting extremely depressed over it, so to change that I dont hide from it, but I usually dont volunteer the information until someone asks me. Anyway, because of this, my perspective on life and death is a bit harsher than the average person.

Thank you for offering up that today. You certainly didn't have to. It's always interesting to know the background of a person, so you can gauge what the forces are/were that formed their personality. And really, personality is really all we can know about each other in an online forum.
