(I was about the start this post with "DT seems..." but I had to pause before using DT. It just doesn't seem right, ya know? He is on defense and is a defensive tackle...so, I guess I'll have to get used to it.)
Nine seconds is slow. He'll never make it through our S&C program. Too fat, and too slow.
If anyone thought Nick Gentry had a quick first step in the BCS title game, they better watch this kid. 9 seconds is coming right out of the initial handshake and whistle with both in the standing position.
If you look at Josh, he played at over 300lb last season. Jessie carries about 10lbs more than Josh.
Out of all of the DT's signed (four,) I wonder how much weight the staff wants Kirven and Dalvin to gain? (listed at 280 and 270 respectively.)

I probably could find it if I did the research, but I'll ask. Does anyone know how the weight classes break down in GA wrestling? I ask that wondering if DT is at 270 to maintain his ability to wrestle in a certain class.
It lists on the state website that the two highest classes are at 220 and at 285. It seems that DT may just prefer that weight and not have to slim down to wrestle at it.
I saw that video last night. Rodney Orr said that he won four matches that day en route to his state championship. Looks like he may get early PT next year.
Pretty excited about this guy, was a big pickup on signing day. I like that he'll be paying attention to detail and technique, as it's obviously a tool of the trade in wrestling. Should be yet another one to watch on the long list of potential studs within the front 7.
I think Tomlinson will end up being a huge pickup. He obviously has grat balance and knows how to use leverage. Give him a year with Coach Cochran and he'll be a terror.
