🏈 Cyrus K, HaHa, Pagan, & Hubbard update...(announcements today, Thurs, at 4:30)

I don't understand how Cyrus is a 1st round pick...he was part if the problem on the OL ...we are not going to miss him... Or Arie...the K brothers set the record for most false starts

I'll admit Cyrus had a rough ending that may not have helped his draft stock but to say we are not going to miss him?... I guess that is why he started the last 3 years.

Also, the false starts have been the highest they've been under CNS but there was a new O-line coach of which I don't think Cristobal gets the blame just yet. I know this much, we are nothing like we used to be under Shula. False starts were a part of the game plan in those days. I think OL penalties absolutely piss off CNS more than any, it is all mental & that crap will get fixed.

Cyrus is the only one I would like to return. I think Hubbard has reached his full potential here, just sucks he had to follow up one of the better JACK's to play at 'Bama in UPshaw and that is why were we kind of disappointed in his play. Cyrus could be a top 5 pick if he stayed another year, but if he declares, I can see why because he already has his degree. Ha-Ha is as good as gone. I just hope he pans out.

Stinson is gonna make some team very happy, one of the better defensive lineman in the entire draft in regards to run defense in my opinion. Never missed a single practice or game his entire career at Bama either.

Sadly, I think Stinson may go undrafted. Not that bad though considering he gets to choose his team and could end up getting PT like Robert Lester did with Carolina.

My question for you guys that are more knowledgable than I. What round do you think Hubbard goes in?

Ive seen guys with more talent and a better college career go 2nd round and lower, i.e. Upshaw. I don't see him as a 1st rounder and maybe not a 2nd rounder. I don't think he had that great a year. But again, I'm not really a scout or good talent and skills evaluator, I'll admit.

I'm probably a lot dumber than you, but I see Hubbard as a late second, or early third round pick. But I'd be willing to bet that with his measurables, he goes higher than that.

I feel as if all three need to return. Call me stupid, but Cyrus can benefit from another year with a line that wasn't as dominate as he was accustomed to in 2012. His false starts throughout the year is a definitely point of emphasis. His is a huge guy that we could REALLY use in 2014 while breaking in a new starter at quarterback.

Clinton-Dix needs to return to show it wasn't Dee Milliner's shadow he was benefitting from. He is a good safety, but he was not near as good this year as he was in 2012 either. With his suspension, he still has something to prove in my eyes. He has the speed, strength, and talent to be the best in the country, so one more full season and off season would benefit him greatly.

Adrian Hubbard was a guy I really pulled for with him being a Georgia boy like myself. He is just a huge guy, with speed, and so much potential it's unbelievable. He reached the tip of his potential, but did not have a breakout year as expected in 2013. I think he would benefit from a hardcore offseason of film study. He could easily be the best defensive player we have next year if he can keep his assignments. The draft boards bode well for him, because the draft gurus love his upside and size. I'm sure that'll be his sign to exit, but I hate to see the guy get cut a couple years after being drafted when he could give Alabama one more year under one of the best defensive coordinators in the country and the best head coach, maybe ever.

I think of the 3, CK would benefit the most from coming back. Problem is, all 3 have those measurables that an NFL team is looking for at those positions. Good luck fellas!!

Sadly, I think Stinson may go undrafted. Not that bad though considering he gets to choose his team and could end up getting PT like Robert Lester did with Carolina.

Lester did an interview with a local station here during the preseason. Asked him if he was disappointed in not being drafted. Basically said of course, but his agent told him it was a blessing in disguise. Said he had 17 teams call that night or the next morning. Also the agent told him that after a certain round in the draft, the players basically get paid a very similar amount. So he got to select his team and make the money some of the late rounders made. And Carolina was his first choice of the teams that called.

I think that maybe both Vinnie and DeAndrew figure they had better leave now and take a shot at the NFL considering both have already had serious knee injuries since they have been here. DeAndrew in 2012 and Vinnie this past season. Why risk another serious injury. Just my 2 cents!!
