I miss the Waterford crystal football. I got to hold one in Ireland and good god I felt like royalty.

I don't like the new trophy but I certainly like seeing it held by our guys ..

Don't the winners of the CFP still get a crystal football or something? Or is it a poll thing now?

I can't remember. I'm all drugged up (flu) so my mind is kinda derpy.

I am with you girl, I HATE the new trophy. It looks cheap when compared to the crystal football. I did not think it could look any worse until Saban pulled it out of the stand last night to reveal it looks just like a long, gold vase with a covered lid!! OH GOD who designed that damn thing????

We will get that also, along with some otehr trophies, but since the CFP one is the main one it will be the one on display mostly.

it is my understanding that the Crystal Football went away with the BCS. However it was around way before the BCS.

Those jack asses spent 3 months on that??? AND....it looks nothing like an "ascending football"......a group of 5th grade girls could have come up with a better trophy.
