The football team practiced for about two hours Monday afternoon in full pads inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility as the Crimson Tide got its game-week preparations underway.
Monday's workout was the 25th of 28 fall practice and the third day of work on West Virginia. The season opener against the Mountaineers is slated for Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game is scheduled for a 2:36 p.m. (CDT) kickoff on ABC/ESPN2.
Head coach Nick Saban and selected players met with the media prior to Monday's practice at a Noon press conference in the Naylor Stone Media Room to address the season opener against West Virginia.
