🏈 Cool story involving UA OL William Sanders...

I'm just going to assume this is true... it isn't an AI deal, I know that much. And based on what I know about Sanders, I'm certain it's legit. It also sorta matches up with some similar stories I know to be true from his former fellow linemen Kayden Proctor and Wilkin Formby specifically.

Anyway, the story...

A STORY THAT NEEDS TO BE SHARED

by an incredible young man who is a part of our Bama Football Team William Sanders @bigwillbhs_789 @ua_athletics ..
My son was looking to buy a pair of boots he had been saving for with his job at Jimmy John’s and as he was looking this young man walked in at @cavenders in Tuscaloosa and they started talking. My son Ashton started talking to him and shared a bit of what he did and where he worked long hours, etc and as he was standing about to pay for his boots he wanted for the @morganwallen concert, William extended his hand and my son said that he went to shake his hand and he asked to give him the boots because he was paying for them

Ashton said he couldn’t believe it and was a bit confused

He proceeded to tell him that he had a good head on his shoulders and to keep working hard

Y’all!!!!! The most amazing part was that when Ashton called me to tell me what had happened the first thing he said was… mom I got to pay it forward

What an incredible gesture from William! Something my son will NEVER forget! The coolest part was that we ran into him before the concert and they were both wearing the boots he bought that day!!! I was happy I got to tell him in person what that had meant for Ashton

Good stories like this need to be shared to show the world that we got some great players in our team that represent what being a GOAT is not only on the field, but off the field as well!!!
Thank you again William for marking my son with a memory and an action that he will treasure forever (as well as those boots
