🏈 Continuing our discussion(s) on metal detectors at BDS-- Should security confiscate cow bells if they are detected when fans are entering the stadium?

start penalizing the team 5 yards every time they ring those clangers, and it'll make them nice and quiet.

but one thing i really don't understand is how the rule says that no noisemakers are allowed inside the stadium...yet they still bring them in. i say do a good search and if they're found on someone, DO NOT let them in the gate. tell them they can go back and leave the bell in their vehicle, or they can leave it at the gate. but if they leave it at the gate they will not get it back. of course they'd tell the staff, "you can't do that!" and our staff would counter with, "our stadium...our rules."

then, after we have a nice collection of those idiotic things....we can send them to that cow college down the road.

Confiscate each and every one of them trying to get into BDS.

State home games were slightly irritating prior to the "legalization" of the bells. I went the the Alabama/State game the first year after legalization and swore I would never return. They have made the atmosphere in that stadium unbearable. The bells never stop. I don't care what they say about "when the center is over the ball" you can hear the bells ringing constantly. They just get louder between plays. It is a joke.

@OldPlayer, Do you think/consider the ringing of cow bells as fan noise or fake noise? If you think it's fake noise, and that's not ok, it would seem to me you care about the cow bells.

~ a little confused.
