🏈 Considering everything.....what is best option

Tua will do what his parents want him to do...

I think it's fair to wonder exactly how his parents feel about CNS right about now. Obviously they trusted him enough to believe he would take great care of both boys at UA... I hope that feeling hasn't changed.

It also should be considered that him coming back could prolong the beginning to little bro's college career... If both or either is back at UA.

If they have a valid injury policy, that would be yet another reason to not return. Coming back would likely invalidate it.

Another option the Tua has is to "come back" for his senior year but redshirt. He could use this time to rehab his hip and eliminate any doubt of his health. The downside of this is that he will be compared to Trevor Lawrence for selection priority.

That would be a very good option
Get the training. The schooling ( wonder if that's important to him). The medical attention. And be their for bro.
Still could play in 4 games.
Of course losing those 3 receivers might deter it.

This will make some laugh, but an education does mean something to some folks. That being said, he may want to look at getting his degree in case things do not work out with his injury or draft status. It's not a bad Plan B to have a great education and using your status as an Alabama legend to land a quality job while the iron is hot and the memory of yourself is still fresh. That being said, him coming back to accomplish that and to qualm any injury concerns for a season doesn't sound as stupid anymore. Whatever he decides, I just hope he comes back from his injury 110% and that the Alabama community is on board and supports him with anything he decides.

It's been reported that they have one for this season. I've not seen much mention of it around the Bama beat.

They usually are for one season. To put another policy in force next year would be complicated. With now having three prior injuries, there would have to be a baseline of what his anticipated performance would be, and there would probably be a provision that re-injuries would be excluded.

I used to see the loans on these pro potential policies, back then underwritten by Lloyd's of London. aubrun players had them financed at the now defunct Colonial Bank, the Alabama players at a pro-Bama bank out of Bham. This was before Bryant Bank existed, for the record.

Tim
