congrats to Auburn. they played a good game. the SEC defense caught up with the oreganos a few too many times. to me that was the difference in the game. i was impressed with oregon's fight as well. they just don't have the line of scrimmage on defense to go 4 qtrs with a good SEC team.

Last night's game proved that you can be an SEC team that plays up or down to the competition, you can have some weak spots on your team, and you can even have coaching that is questionable at times. But, the athletes that any SEC team has at those critical positions on the field, such as QB, RB, WR, Nose tackle, secondary...no other conference can compete with what we have at those places. Furthermore, the difference in this game might just have been the lines of scrimmage, which Auburn dominated.

I'm not wishing them congrats because they didn't come by it honest, but they were a heck of a good team this year.

i dont recall getting any (maybe one?) congrats for bama winning it last year......but they all expect it from us this year.

1. The NCAA still has to rule on who history will record as the NC. Until the case is closed, and Cam is cleared of charged not already addressed, the NC is temporary.

2. TCU, playing fair and square over an entire season failed to top Oregon. TCU can not be considered above Oregon. If Auburn were to lose the title for wrong doing, then Oregon can not be punished for the Tiger's sins. We cant say that TCU would beat Auburn or Oregon, or Oregon could beat TCU. All that we can go on is an entire season play, which I trust.
