Jalen makes people pay for rushing him. I think the goal for tamu, if they are smart, will be stop the run and keep contain on Jalen. Essentially, teams' plans from last season. make him pass to beat you.

I don't think that will work out for them much better, but I do believe it's their best shot of hanging with BAma.

Chavis had them playing loose, and a bit on the line last season. I recall a roughing the passer and a targeting call last season. They definitely put pressure on Jalen but he almost had 100 rushing as I recall.

Let's not forget he had two INT's last year...one the last play of the half. It was a game of untimely penalties as well.

I feel like since CSU the OL has been much better in pass pro... And as mentioned earlier, Jalen's ability to move around sure helps.

We all know a strong run game will slow down a good pass rush. I believe in Daboll's ability to adjust when necessary... More so than Kiffin.

If we do have to pass, the A&M DBs don't appear to be all stars. I may not be right, but UCLA made them look really bad - and the game was on the line. We have good receivers to throw to, if Jalen can get any time in the pocket.

They will be forced to play loose with our ability to dump it off to our backs. Daboll has shown he is more than willing to send our backs out on routes and Jalen will get them the ball. They may push the limits of our line, but our scheme will beat them 9 times out of 10.

I'm not concerned with their pass rush. Arky has been the one team that had some semblance of a run game and they scored 43!! Arky is also shitty in pass pro!! Allen has gotten beaten to death the last 2 years like Francois at F$U. A&M against the run looks strong on paper BUT we have to cinsider their competition. Arky went 45 for 226, including 6 sacks for almost 30 yards in losses. If Chavis tries to pressure Jalen, I see Daboll swinging the ball out to our backs. You play nickel and we cram it down your throat!!! You widen your ends to contain Jalen and you get gashed inside with QB draws, the read game, and inside run. Their pass D has been atrocious!!! 118th out of 129!!! That is facing UCLA, Nicholls State, ULL, Arky, and South Cacka Lacka.

Very little competition and yet they haven't performed well- they will have to play much better to stop us and this defense is young

What I would do....
But easier said than done....
Single cover with no deep help......can be a disaster....
