šŸˆ Commitment of impact: ESPN JC50 QB Chad Kelly to Ole Miss

Ole Miss has a glaring need at quarterback in 2015 with Bo Wallace out of eligibility and backups DeVante Kincade, Ryan Buchanan and others without the desired game experience. On Wednesday, Hugh Freeze and staff took a major step towards answering a key question picking up a commitment from ESPN JC50 No. 29 Chad Kelly. Significance of impact: Kelly's commitment is huge for the hopes of Ole Miss in 2015 and 2016. Not only does Kelly have experience playing on a junior college national title team at East Mississippi Community College, but he also has two years of FBS experience at Clemson.

So Freeze makes the comment that Bo "lost his head" in the LSU game with his decision to throw the pass that was intercepted. Now, he signs a kid that has a recorded history of not keeping his head on straight?

@TerryP, I guess Freeze likes having a QB that he can't trust with the game on the line.

I'm reminded of the nickname he "earned" when he was at Clemson; Swag Kelly.

Arguments with professors, coaches, players from other teams (baseball is the one that came to mind,) and what was it...hit a girl with his car at some point?

I don't mean to wish bad on the kid, but good lord, this is a train wreck waiting to happen.

.. and we get to watch it unfold! Oh what fun!

:popcorn2:I'm going to enjoy this!!!:popcorn2: We need to see if the Bookie will set up a prop or side bet on the over/under for how long he lasts in Oxford!!

makes me wonder if things like this will make some schools require some of their student-athletes (current or prospective) to submit to a psych eval.

seriously, what goes through the mind of a person like that? he may need some professional help.

What a joke. This kid simply needs an ass whooping. Surprised he hasn't gotten dropped already, because something tells me he has a glass jaw by the way he always tries to prove how tough he is, which almost seemingly ends up more embarrassing than proving toughness. Hate to want anyone to fail, but this kid is one that I want on his face.

I've seen a half a dozen articles on this over the past hour and have yet to seen someone use "Machine gun Kelly" as a play on words.

So easy...how could it have been missed?

Wondering if the cops checked his trunk for the AK-47. Urban Meyer is wondering how he missed out on this guy.

Kelly has been charged with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, second-degree menacing, resisting arrest, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and, along with a friend involved in the melee, third-degree criminal trespass. All charges are misdemeanors or violations, and Kelly has been released without bail.
