🏈 Colorado announces to PAC 10

With Colorado making it official today, I don't see how it doesn't go just how people are projecting. Texas and the other Texas schools will go. Nebraska will go East.

I can't help but home that the SEC adds at least Florida State and Georgia Tech. Both are perfect fits and Tech used to BE in the SEC. I don't feel like the SEC will add anyone though.

I think there is a reason why we aren't hearing anything out of Mike Slive right now. It has been awful awful quiet. I wonder if somewhere in downtown Birmingham or near Austin Texas, the wheels are about to blast off and make the SEC the Conference of Conferences? As if that wasn't already the case?

remember, the rich get richer....

All kinds of rumors swirling now:

(in no particular order)

Oklahoma has asked to join the SEC

aTm has asked to join the SEC

aTm and Texas have asked to join the Big 10

Oklahoma State will join the PAC 10.

In the meantime there is Nebraska apparently making it official tomorrow, and Missouri is supposed to respond to the Big 12's ultimatum regarding its intentions.

It has been a very interesting day.

I agree..you can almost feel the SEC wheels turning. I would bet the farm that there are at lest 2 scenarios in place and ready to be announced when the time is right.

You have to wonder if the ACC survives this (if we see multiple 16 team conferences) Can you immagine Florida St, Miami, Clemson and Virginia Tech in the SEC?

Texas and aTm have got to be the first choices. It is based on nothing more than money. If we add 4 teams then I see Clemson/FSU being the next 2 to be invited. UT/aTm is the SEC first choice. TV markets mean money and that is the driving force. Dallas is a HUGE tv market.
