🏈 College Gameday - Saban seems to be DOMINATING the signs

I have counted 5 signs at Gameday so far that either contain Saban's name or a picture of him. I've only seen one sign that contains the name of Auburn's coach. Seriously....obsess much?

It's sad how much the idiot barners obsess over Bama. Most of (if not all) their signs at Gameday are about us or Saban. Someone told me that last Thursday night after Mississippi State failed to convert that fourth down late in the game, the barnies in attendance were chanting "We want Bama". Apparently, that's the chant after every game, regardless of the fact that the game is still more than 2 months away. I wonder if there is even one other team in the nation whose fans live for one game a year like those bozos do for the Iron Bowl. I mean, I love the IB and look forward to it every year, but dang come on, it's NOT the only game of any significance! We have other fish to fry before November 26th. You would think they would think the same way, but, then again, it is the barn. Playing us is THE reason they exist. Sad.

Y'all are right about that little team being obsessed, Have a neighbor who has just moved in last week, I hadn't even had a chance to introduce myself and welcome them to the neighborhood, tell me they could not wait to see us in Nov. I told her congrats on the Ms. st. "win" and that Nov. is along ways away and she should be concerned with Clemson, honestly I am so glad we have the traditions and bright future to hang our hats on, and one game does not make or break our season & that I don't have to worry about that game till time to play it. (There goes their welcome to the neighborhood) :elephant:

I have some barner relatives, and every year right after the Iron Bowl concludes, they say "the count down is on, 365 days until the next Iron Bowl". They even said it after the 2004 game, and they were headed to the SEC Title game that year! It's unreal how they live for us and us alone! Every time one of them makes a comment showing how much emphasis they put on that one game a year, I say "wow, you guys sure do have us on the brain, I don't know if that is flattering, or creepy!".
