Our opening games seem to low scoring and 10 points is a lot to give.

The average score in season openers has been roughly 35-13 with two games having been won by 10 points—WVU and VT. If you're averaging winning the openers by 25+, how is that a low scoring affair?

That number drops a bit when you factor in playing Penn State in the second game of the season. However, the Tide still won both of those games by 16 and 21 points.

Related post I found in a tOSU thread on a B1G board:
BUCKEYES OPEN AS NINE-POINT DOGS TO OKLAHOMA, FAVORED OVER WISCONSIN AND MICHIGAN

"The lines, provided to Eleven Warriors by @Johnny_Detroit of wagertalk.com, highlight dozens of big games on tap for this season, including Alabama opening as underdogs against LSU for the first time since 2007 and Michigan opening as favorites on the road in East Lansing for the first time since 2011."

@TerryP While we talking about points spreads, over/under, I know we talk about doing a new betting type this coming year? My question is will we be doing this new type of betting when the new season roll around? I know you doing the up grade right now, you see I got all that money burning a hole under my user name. :D

The old system will still be in place, but I'll be adding a new feature ...

Member against member bets. IE: IF @psychojoe wanted to put the spread for Bama at -15, anyone who wants to take the action can bet against him.

It'll be a rebuild on cash balances again. We'll start at a different amount this year and move from there. Heck, it'll be a rebuild period.

I'll get more into details within the next few weeks.
