I am sure the tie breaker does not account for this but hard for me a beileve a team that lost to Vandy should be in the SEC Championship game. Sorry old school ways are hard to break.

I think our persective is being conveluted because it's hard to imagine a team being Championship calibre team by losing to them. It's quite a ways to fall to see that as viable.

However, the playoff system & the SECCG, allow the pass IF the team truly improves. That can happen. The question for us is "Has it happened?"

We'll see. On to Mercer & then at Oklahoma who is going to view that game as their super bowl.

Bama lost to Vandy and was awarded a national title one season.
I assume you are going back to the 1941 NC? Probably not the best example. Bama I think has lost to Vandy 3 times in my lifetime. None were championship seasons. In my lifetime championship teams do not lose to Vandy. I know Vandy is better and Bama is getting better. At this point Bamas improvement is all that matters.

Super Bowl? They need to have their minds set on getting to something like the Birmingham Bowl game.

I can't remember exactly where OU was ranked in the pre-season. I do know it was outside the top fifteen, inside the top twenty: and it was the same in both polls. (I'd have to look it up.)

I know they have Bama and LSU left on their schedule and with two losses they are sitting at home.

Injuries have taken their toll on the Sooners. Their starting RB is questionable, three OL out for the season, another three listed as questionable, WR injuries throughout the season ...

I know Riley didn't leave a lot for a solid program when he left. But, I think we can look at this season and admit one thing, "The SEC schedule beat those guys up."

PSU vs Ole Miss - blowout
Bama vs Miami - likely blowout. (Not impressed with Miami.)
UGA vs ND - blowout
UT vs Boise. - blowout.

Ole Miss, Bama, UGA, and UT advance joining TX for the quarters.

Really. Those would be 4 games i would watch.
Maybe a blowout. I dont see one though
But
I would like to rearrange

UT @ bama. ( oh hell yeah)
Uga @ nd
Ole ms @ miami
Psu n boise

How is PSU going to keep up with the Ole Miss offense? How will they move the ball against the best defense in the SEC? They can't, and they won't.

Tennessee vs Boise? Are you kidding me?

Penn State in no way, shape, or form could hang with any of the offenses in the Top 10 outside of Ohio State's boring and slow offense. Oregon, Ole Miss, Alabama, BYU, Texas, Indiana, and Tennessee would roll them.
