One game, only one of those first games is one I would watch. After that, maybe two games I would watch. I'm not sour grapes, but Ai don't think Clemson, Arizona State, Boise State, SMU, Ohio State or Texas belong in. The fact Oregon, the one seed got screwed more than anything suns it all up.

Yep. Both of these things can be true.... Alabama fell on their face against OU and that was hard to get past. That's on Alabama. But, some of these teams are getting free passes in a system that rewards lesser teams in lesser conferences. That glitch, will get fixed. And it'll be fixed by the 2 conferences that have the power (sorry if that isn't fair to the rest, life sucks) and the TV execs who want (and need) the most eyes watching...

However, 'Bama, this team made it's bed. Championship level teams do NOT let other teams or committees determine their outcome. Hopefully, this will convict players to step it up & make sure they prepare for the next season to leave no doubt where 'Bama should be placed.

I don't see it like that. Some of these teams are getting their cake today. They better enjoy it. In the future, playoff guarantees will favor the SEC and B1G heavily, IMO. It might be another year of this, but this was the start of the system getting rewired.

Yep. If Ohio State or Oregon had 3 losses, and one of them was as bad as Bama's was to OU... say Ohio State or Oregon lost @ Rutgers 24-3 and also dropped a game @ Minnesota where they were favored by 14. Most all of us would be saying they didn't belong, regardless of who they did beat.

I don’t think any of us are really surprised. Except Terry maybe. We knew SMU needed to win and a Clemson win would almost surely kick us out. I know Terry tried to tell us that game didn’t matter and lead the horses to water and all that, but we really knew we weren’t in if Clemson won unless they just mailed them by 30 or something. Maybe today we can hear what bowl game we are slotted for so we can move on. And learn which players are bolting for greener pastures.
