They are better than Oklahoma.

In the bowls last year, they outplayed a UGA team who is now deemed unbeatable. They looked just as fast and as tough as the Bulldogs.

I am a Cincinnati fan to make it if they go undefeated. I say that because I honestly feel they are stronger than Oklahoma and Ohio State. I like Alabama, Georgia, and Cincinnati. The fourth spot needs to be fought out between Michigan State, Michigan, and Ohio State.

I'd rather see Cincinnati over Oklahoma. Oklahoma has shown multiple times they aren't ready to take a step in the Playoffs, and their magic against Kansas shows they aren't ready again this season. one can only hope Oklahoma State gets them or if it's possible for Texas to get them again the the Big 12 Championship.

Finebaum was on ESPN's podcast, ESPN College Football, with Matt Barie Sunday and he was adamantly off of the Cincy bandwagon. That was his point as well after admitting he'd been on the "get a G-5 team in" up until their game against Navy. I paraphrase him here...

"Let 'em put Cincy in and see what happens to all the expansion talk when Cincy gets blown away by the likes of UGA, or Oklahoma, or Alabama, etc."

Based on Sagarin Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State would be double digit favorites. Cincy would be -2 against Ole Miss and I'd jump on the Rebels quickly.

Most of the time it really does. There are exceptions as you just noted. For that one to happen you had a highly motivated opponent that has been working on Bama for a year and a really poorly played game by Bama. Moon and stars had to align for this to happen.
