This reflects football reality as of right now. IMO, however, if the committee were to make its selection today and the playoffs start this Saturday, no way would there be three SEC teams in the tournament. The picture will be clearer by mid November.

There are teams with a better resume than a one loss Bama. Auburn has the best argument with their win against Kansas State.

In my opinion, there's far too many making judgements on how this committee is going to act right now. A lot of doom and gloom with nothing to substantiate the paranoia.

If we see a team screwed in December, let's the roasting begin.

The one thing I'm curious about, and one thing that would make me upset no matter what team it is, is if the committee has a top four going into the championship game weekend and suddenly that team isn't included. It'll create shit storm of epic proportions.

BTW, on a bit of a separate note...but related...

Cowherd made the comment this morning there's no way a SEC team can get through Bama's schedule for the remainder of the year undefeated. Not Bama, any SEC team. IF LSU wins this weekend, we'll have four top 25 teams we going to face. A loss by LSU gives the Tide three top 10 teams (in all likelihood.)

Impeccable resume for that 4th place spot...IF we're left looking for that spot.
