I mean no disrespect by asking this question; I earnestly seek your honest opinion. How do you think a first game of the year between the Utes and the Tide would shake out if we were playing Utah instead of the Hokies. I really want to know what a true Utes fan would perceive the outcome to be.

I don't think the Utes could hang with us now. If it were not for the online urban myer coaching and the lack of Smith and the total breakdown of our team Bama would have won easy. We would stomp the utes right now.

Given the fact we just announced a true freshman QB as our #1 this week, our offense is a complete mystery at this point. None of us have any idea what to expect. That being said, I think our defense might even be better than last year, and we know how well they were able to shut Bama down. I can guarantee your team would be better prepared for a rematch, so we wouldn't have that advantage. I'd give the nod to you guys if the game were played tomorrow, but that's mainly because I have no earthly idea what our offense will be like.

That sure is an awful lot of if's. I think the Utes might have had a little to do with that "total breakdown", and I don't think Urban said anything the rest of us couldn't see on film from the SECCG.
