It's not surprising at all considering Saban mentioning he was out "indefinitely, maybe longer" when discussing his injury earlier this year.

Both. He's still under a scholarship, but won't be a part of the football team. Just like Prothro last year...just like Stabler this year.

Most importantly, he doesn't count against the 85.

Ok so that's three now that have been subtraacted from the 85 total, correct? Elder, Stabler, and now Cody Davis.

There is nothing "official" on Elder yet, but I understand he's at home in Georgia. If that's still correct, it would mean he's not in classes. Still enrolled? We don't know the answer to that as well.

Time will tell.

There are a handful of players that I know of that are on the hot seat. How hot?
