Bama fans might remember the endless discussion when Fran was here...will he dare lean on the goalposts?

Saban, in Saban style, hasn't toyed with the fans with goalpost leanings.

But by golly, those goalposts are there whenever Saban might want to. You don't get to do the goalpost lean because you want to (see Fran)

You get to goalpost lean any time you please because you earned it.

No, let him do his own thing, he's starting a new legacy. I don't want him wearing a houndstooth hat, either. Frankly, I'm a little confused as to why all of the houndstooth has come back, anyway. Saban is his own coach, his style may be similar to the Bear in some ways, but he's his own.

Saban is indeed his own man, and if leaning against goalposts strikes his fancy, then fine. But most of the time he's in there running the plays with the team, throwing balls to guys, grabbing jerseys and moving people into the right places. It's his team, and his program, and Coach Bryant would expect us to respect every bit of that.

I don't know a single Bama fan that does anything other than that!
