🏈 Coach Orgeron ie....jack ass

Orgeron should be reprimanded as well. He basically paraphrased what Kiffin said.

I dont have one bit of love for Steve Spurrier, but I hope he puts it to their behinds this weekend!

Could someone please enlighten me about questionable calls in that game? The only one I remember is the UT defender all over Julio and not getting flagged. Feel free to let me know about others.

They call it questionable when they tackle Dareus on their last drive and get called for holding and I guess the false start from the TE who buckled his knees. I watched the replays and saw 2 no calls on their RT holding Chavis Williams.

You see what you want to see, and apparently Orgeron doesn't want to see the fact that all of their penalties where VERY legitimate and they could have been called for MORE. They got away with some too, but they don't want to admit it. As Coach Saban said, if you're going to make statements like this...you need to have some form of proof.

at least he agrees and knows who the better team is.

"I do know this: there were some very questionable calls in that game that could have went either way and they went Alabama's side. There were very questionable calls throughout the season and it seems they go for the better team. Whether that's true or not, we can never prove that but that's what it seems like."

Having observed officiating over a lot of years, it seems to me that the team that is being more aggressive gets the benefit of the doubt from the officials. That most often is the better team.

Looks to me that all the penalties on UT were prettty solid and as mentioned above their could have well been a couple of more.

The only call I saw that was questionable was the illegal block of some kind when ut was defending on kick coverage. It was probably plain as day, but I couldn't see it on the return. I didn't know you could illegal block on defense but I guess you can. Maybe the officials were letting the teams play more because ut was holding all day. I don't think Bama was holding, and maybe we should have been. If we were, it still didn't help either team much.

ut got some serious help in no calls. IMO the interference against Julio was the worst.

The illegal block on the return happened when the UT player dove at the wedge players' knees. It was plain as day, if you look again, you will see it.

I doubt Thompson says a word. Before the game I was down by the sidelines before warm ups. Thompson came out and I noticed he came over and spoke to a guy standing a little ways down from me. Shook hands and chatted. I then noticed another guy walked from up near the north end zone down to the south endzone area and got Lance's attention. Shook hands and exchanged pleasantries like they were old friends.(He looked like a booster, the way he was dressed and carried himself) Also noticed that during pre-game warm ups that Kirby and Lance hugged and sort of bumped chests before going back to their locker rooms.

Lance apparently is well respected among the Alabama folks that knew him. I may be way out in left field, but I don't look for Lance to say anything.

Orgeron works for Kiffen.

Kiffen is ultimately responsible for the behavior of his staff.

ergo, this is a continuation of the griping by Kiffen.

Off with his head!

I think that the officials review this game, read the media reports and tighten the screws on lil kitten next game. They will not get away with anything when they play the Gamecocks.

Yeah, the defender flung his body at the knees of the Alabama blockers, there were three on that one guy and that is extremely illegal. Had it not been for that Javy would've most likely taken it to the house.

1st Quarter
TENNESSEE penalty 5 yard false start accepted.
TENNESSEE penalty 8 yard pass interference accepted.

2nd Quarter
No penalties on TN

3rd Quarter
TENNESSEE penalty 15 yard illegal block accepted.
(This was when he rolled in front of Arenas when he almost took it to the house. Easy call.)
TENNESSEE penalty 5 yard delay of game accepted.

4th Quarter
TENNESSEE penalty 5 yard false start accepted.
TENNESSEE penalty 10 yard holding accepted.
TENNESSEE penalty 15 yard roughing the kicker accepted. (Easy Call)
TENNESSEE penalty 5 yard false start accepted

As you can see, along with the TN staff, these calls are calls that can hardly even be questioned. They are pretty easy calls. A false start is easy to see along with the delay of game and roughing the kicker. The illegal block was a easy call as well as he may have saved a touchdown while doing the illegal block. I think holding could be called every play if they wanted to. I don't remember that pass interference call but even if that "ONE" call was off, it made up for the pass interference on J.Jones in the endzone.
