šŸˆ CNS story that didn't make the news

Today before Tua Tagovailoa came out to the media room, I spoke with a camera man that works for ESPN. Maybe in his 50’s and I overheard him taking about recently losing his father. I went up to him introduced myself and gave him condolences. His father was 85 when he passed, lived a good life, and passed with family and his wife by his side.

He then told me that he’s good friends with Nick Saban as he’s been with ESPN for many years and that him and Saban would exchange stories and are true friends.

When Saban heard about his father passing, Saban was upset that he did not hear the news sooner, saying ā€œI needed to know this sooner, this is my friend!ā€ Saban said to a UA rep.

Saban then arranged to have a pasta dinner delivered to the family.

Just gives us another reminder about what type of person and man Nick Saban really is.
