🏈 clear conclusive video evidence on "the interception" during the lsu game

Julio was out of bounds. #7 was in bounds. #7's hands were first to the ball, a point that I saw differently previously. Now this is not to say that Julio did not make contact with the ball AS #7 was grasping/making the catch.

My question is since Julio carried the same status as the ground at that moment, would Julio's contact justify a call that the ball was in effect a "trapped"? Further, one has to consider that Julio, unlike the ground, was moving to the ball...but would that matter?

This all goes back to that fuzzy logic of when a catch is made.

My head hurts now....self inflicted wound.

You know, i feel the "trapped" description might be accurate. The catch wasn't made because it hit Julio's hands i guess.

Gah, now you got me thinking about when a catch is made. I'm going to bed before i have an aneurysm.

Had it been called an interception on the feild I don't think it would have gotten overturned either. its just one of those things, you can be a corn dog about or a mature adult...
