I was watching a show a few moments ago that had a former UF QB, a former UK QB and I don't know who the hell the other guy was, but Clay Travis is convinced that Saban will leave for Texas. IMHO, Clay Travis is on the same level as those that created the Obamacare website.

I saw the numbers from this past weekend comparing the ESPN Gameday to the FS1 game day show and it was...they don't belong in the same sentence.

Over a million more viewers for ESPN...I think the number was 500K for FS1.

Now, here's my thought. Clay's schtick, while it does drive traffic to his site, is still what it is—he insults fan bases. With the numbers so low for FS1's Saturday show he'll be one of the first ones to go.

Oh, and drill...

Not a good comparison with the AFCA website. Outkickthecoverage.com is successful.

CNS has a very real shot at retiring from Bama with more NCs than anyone ever and in a relatively short amount of time. He ain't going anywhere except to the podium to hoist championship trophies.

I was watching this unfold the other day on Twitter when it was going on...

Clay is a joke. I haven't watched any of FS1's "gameday" coverage, and I wont if he is a prominent fixture on it. ESPN's version is the only thing other than live sports (well, and College Football Live with Rece) that I watch on ESPN these days, but even now, I don't go out of my way to see it. Adding Finebaum to the panel for his appearances are enough to make me go find something else to do.

After Hand's commit today, someone sent me a link to tigerdroppings. Man! The gnashing of teeth there...Some of those corndogs are still convinced he's going to Texas. Desperately wanting him gone!

The number I saw was waaaaaaaaay more dreadful for FS1, it was like 50,000 viewers or maybe it was just a typo.

He's out soon.

Insulting the largest college football base and trying to grab TV ratings don't mix.

And then they try to pass him off as a guy with good commentary on the spread as well?

He's out.

FS1, for the most part, is boring as hell to watch.

A majority of their hosts do not have a good feel for looking comfortable in front of a camera. It's actually relatively awkward at times.

I've always heard a lot of complaints about ESPN, but the fact of the matter is...they're the best in the business. And it's not even close.

Clay is a writing genius. Take it for what it is. He is also a provocateur like Paul Finebaum. Both of them are the masters of the outrageous. That's their stock and trade . But, both of them get it right a majority of the time. He just pointed out that there is a very strong case for Saban going to Texas...one that we BAMA fans hope doesn't happen.

Welcome to the site, Mr. Travis... :biggrin_blue:

Welcome to the site Tommy Chong. The 70's was a blast wasn't it?
