I love Chris Stewart! I used to sit in my car and listen to him call a basketball game rather than going inside and watching it on TV. I have even sat in my house and listened rather than watching.

I hope that he is in line to get football when we are done with ELI or he is done with us.

Absolutely. I love Chris Stewart. He grew up a huge Bama fan, not afraid to voice his opinion, and generally a nice and energetic guy.

A favorite Chris Stewart moment of mine occurred in his first season doing basketball play by play. I am not sure of the exact season, but Gottfried was our hoops coach and Jemareo Davidson was one of our mainstays. Shula was the football coach, and one of his OL was the much maligned Chris Capps. It was towards the end of football season

Davidson was having a great game swatting shots, and after a block Stewart said ' that was Jemareo's fifth block of the game, giving him one more than Chris Capps has for the season. I imagine he got a lot of grief about that call, but it cracked me up.

LOL wish I could have heard that. I remember when we had just beaten LSU for the natty, we played them later that week. As soon as LSU scored, he said something about how LSU finally just scored on Alabama. It awesome. The student section chanted "just like Monday" after we had won against them and he just loved it. Stewart is awesome.
