🏈 Chris Samuels joining Alabama as offensive line assistant...

I'm still giddy about this move. A former UA player, a Mobile native with active Mobile connections, an Outland Trophy winner, a 6 time Pro-Bowler, and a guy who is very respected by players, coaches, and front office personnel in the NFL. This move pays dividends on a number of fronts.

I loved this as soon as I heard it!!! CNS continues to pull big time coups before signing day. To me, this is just like getting one of those 5* recruits on NSD!! As stated earlier, this does nothing but get us stronger in Mobile and piss off our opponents. I love it!!!!!

Love it too.

I can imagine that this helps in recruiting in the D.C. area as well, noting the consistant pushes that we have seen in recent past. Having "THAT Chris Samuals come to the neighborhood for a home visit" should ensure that some doors are opened. Redskins fans may dog the prospect to make that happen for themselves.

And as a Resume builder for Coach Samuals, how about having an Outland Trophy winner after his first year of coaching. You just have to think that BJ is the favorite.

FWIW, he won't be allowed to make home visits or be on the road talking to recruits.

On campus? Different story. He'll be in a position like Groh.

AHHHRRGGG! I guess he will have to be bearing down on his academics. After 87 years of NFL game prepping, finishing his Physical Education degree should resemble Billy Madison's first day at school.

He'll have a full-time job; as in hours put in at the football complex.

It's a win∞
